Steve trained at Smithfield College from the age of 16 and completed his Butchery apprenticeship. At 19 years of age Steve took over as the Manager of Fuller’s Butchers. Over the last 28 years Steve has built up the butchers to be a reputable, well established and much loved business. In 2014 Steve and his wife June opened the Farm Shop in Eridge. Steve takes pride in offering the very best quality locally-produced meats and has also built up a strong relationship with local farmers in the area.
June has always been involved with the Butchers since marrying Steve over 19 years ago and then in 2014 with the opening of the new Farm Shop she joined her husband in setting up and running it. June is always available to offer help and advice to our customers, and her artistic nature is displayed throughout the shop.
Sarah joined the family business in 2014, taking over from mother Margaret as the accounts manager. Sarah is responsible for the administration of both shops although she can also be found helping customers in the farm shop.
Steve’s brother in law and the Head Butcher at our farm shop. Russell and Steve have known each other for many years and are not only related but great friends. Russell has worked for Fuller’s since 2001 and previous to this he worked for a Wholesale butcher’s supplying the catering trade. Russell is our most experienced butcher and his butchery skills are second to none! Russell has a military background as an Infantry Soldier and was also a part-time fireman for 14 years.
Richard has been in the butchery trade since 1990 and previous to this was an experienced chef. He has spent the last 14 years working with us and with his catering background is always available to offer advice on cooking tips and recipes . Richard is one of our most experienced butchers and a valued member of our team.
Richard has worked for Fuller’s for 11 years and previous to this was the Area Manager for Bakers Oven. Richard also spent 7 years as a part-time Fireman and is a very experienced Butcher and always on hand of offer advice and cooking tips.
George has been with Fuller’s for the last 5 years and previous to this worked as a catering butcher for some of the top hotels in London. George is a very experienced butcher and always ready to offer help and advice on different cuts of meat.
Charley previously worked as a butcher for 4 years. He joined our team 4 years ago and is completing a full butchery apprenticeship with us. Charley is gaining new butchery skills every day and we are proud to have him as part of our team.
Ryan joined our butchery team just over two years ago. Ryan has been butchering for the last 22 years and has also experienced working as a butcher in Germany, Holland, France and Ireland. He was previously involved in the meat production side of butchery and we are so pleased to have his wealth of cutting experience and knowledge in our butchers shops.
Suzy works front of house at our Farm Shop serving our customers and offering help and assistance on our deli and cheese counter. Suzy has recently joined us and with over 17 years in the retail industry her customer service skills are second to none and were proud to say a real asset to our Farm Shop.
Dom started with us on a part-time basis in 2014 and for the last 2 years has been full time and is also completing a full butchery apprenticeship with us. Dom is a very enthusiastic member of our team and is keen to lean all aspects of the butchery trade.
Jack joined us over two years ago on a part time basis delivering our meat to the restaurants, pubs, nursing homes and schools that we supply to in the area. Jack has now been with us full time for over a year and is now a trainee butcher as well as the best delivery driver in town.
We also have many other invaluable part time members of staff that help us to run our Farm Shop and can be seen assisting our customers throughout the week and on the weekends.
