Steve trained at Smithfield College from the age of 16 and completed his Butchery apprenticeship. At 19 years of age Steve took over as the Manager of Fuller’s Butchers. Over the last 28 years Steve has built up the butchers to be a reputable, well established and much loved business. In 2014 Steve and his wife June opened the Farm Shop in Eridge. Steve takes pride in offering the very best quality locally-produced meats and has also built up a strong relationship with local farmers in the area.
June has always been involved with the Butchers since marrying Steve over 19 years ago and then in 2014 with the opening of the new Farm Shop she joined her husband in setting up and running it. June is always available to offer help and advice to our customers, and her artistic nature is displayed throughout the shop.
Sarah joined the family business in 2014, taking over from mother Margaret as the accounts manager. Sarah is responsible for the administration of both shops although she can also be found helping customers in the farm shop.
Richard has been in the butchery trade since 1990 and previous to this was an experienced chef. He has spent the last 16 years working with us and with his catering background is always available to offer advice on cooking tips and recipes . Richard is one of our most experienced butchers and a valued member of our team.
Richard has worked for Fuller’s for 13 years and previous to this was the Area Manager for Bakers Oven. Richard also spent 7 years as a part-time Fireman and is a very experienced Butcher and always on hand of offer advice and cooking tips.
George has been with Fuller’s for the last 5 years and previous to this worked as a catering butcher for some of the top hotels in London. George is a very experienced butcher and always ready to offer help and advice on different cuts of meat.
Charley previously worked as a butcher for 4 years. He joined our team 4 years ago and has now completed a full butchery apprenticeship with us. Charley's butchery skills are excellent and we are proud to have him as part of our team.
Ryan joined our butchery team three years ago. Ryan has been butchering for the last 24 years and has also experienced working as a butcher in Germany, Holland, France and Ireland. He was previously involved in the meat production side of butchery and we are so pleased to have his wealth of cutting experience and knowledge in our butchers shops.
Suzy works front of house at our Farm Shop serving our customers and offering help and assistance on our deli and cheese counter. Suzy joined us just over 3 years ago and with over 17 years in the retail industry her customer service skills are second to none and were proud to say a real asset to our Farm Shop.
Jack joined us three years ago on a part time basis as our delivery driver and in July 2016 he moved onto become a full time trainee butcher. Jack is gaining new butchery skills everyday and is a valuable part of our team.
Sam grew up with a farming background tending to the animals but has always had a keen interest in the butchery side of the business. Sam has been with us since July 2016 and is expanding his butchery skills on a daily basis and Sam's local family farm also supplies us with some of their pigs.
Pat is our fabulous deliver driver, delivering our meat to the restaurants, pubs, nursing homes and schools that we supply to in the area. Pat has been with us since September 2017 and is also (along with his brother Jack) training to be a butcher. We are very proud to have the brothers as part of our team.
We also have many other invaluable part time members of staff that help us to run our Farm Shop and can be seen assisting our customers throughout the week and on the weekends.
